With CGI becoming more and more popular in the automotive Industry there are some photographers who want to try it out and play around with it. Due to the wide variety of tutorials available its somewhat hard to know where to start. What software to get, where to get 3D models, how to focus only on the basics to be able to start creating images asap.

Below is a collection of videos created just with those issues in mind. I go over the software, where to download the free trials, where to get a free 3D Model, how to import it into the software, how to dataprep the car, and how to create pretty images as well as how to retouch the final rendering using the CGI render elements we create.

The focus of these tutorials is simple. Teach only the things important to get to the finish line, we are ignoring all the technical things, not focusing on useless knoledge that will distract us from rendering a pretty picture.
